Jump Rope For Heart and Survivor Ball
February 2nd-17th
Look for the announcement of top student, top class, and if Paakuma' met the two school wide goals when we come back from break.
K-6thStudents will fundraise for heart health by participating in a Jump Rope Heart event on February 17th.
(Due to inclement weather we had to postpone the Jump Rope for Heart Event until February 21st) Even if you are unable to donate, you will still be a part of the Jump Rope for Heart activities, as we want everyone to be heart healthy.

7th-8thStudents will fundraise for heart health by participating in the new Survivor Ball event:
There is a $5 entry to play in SurvivorBall. Teams will consist of 8 players and students are able to make their own teams with team names and design their own team wardrobe. For every additional $10 you earn you will be awarded an extra life (up to 5 lives) for each game you participate in. If you raise $40 you will play in the Paakuma' staff vs. student SurvivorBall game. The event will take place on March 10, but donations are due February 17th.

We had a great kickoff assembly on February 3rd learning why heart health matters and how our donations will help impact the lives of others. As a special thank you, Paakuma' PE and ASB will have additional thank you gifts for bringing in donations to help save lives.
Thank You Gifts
- Earn 10 donations online to be entered into the raffle for a GoPro
- Every $10 you earn (up to $40) earns you a Castle Park ticket and Buccaneer Water Cove ticket for someone 18 years and younger.
- Raise $50 and be part of the Heart Heroes section in the yearbook
- Raise $200 and become the PE teacher for the day. Meaning, the student picks the activity and the teacher has to be part of the games and activities on that given day.
